• Start with a rectangular piece of paper. Fold it in half lengthwise, creasing it well.
• Unfold the paper and then fold the top two corners to the centre crease, making a triangle shape at the top of the article.
• Fold the paper half along the centre crease, pressing the top triangles together.
• Fold the wings down along the bottom edge of the triangles, leaving about a 1-inch space at the bottom of the paper.
• Fold down the very tips of the wings to create a sharp point.
• Fold up the bottom of the paper to create a tail.
• Unfold the tail and fold each side to the centre to create two fins.
• Finally, hold the paper aeroplane by the body and gently toss it into the air.
